1 Introduction and Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to Youtine, the family organiser app provided by Youtine BV, headquartered in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. By downloading, accessing, or using the Youtine app ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms").
2 Eligibility
To create a Youtine account (an "Account Holder"), you must be aged 18 years or older and have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements. By registering, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
Children may use Youtine as part of a family or household set up and managed by an Account Holder. Where a child uses the Service, the Account Holder is responsible for supervising that use, for providing any consent required by law on the child's behalf, and for the child's activity within the household. Youtine is not intended to be registered or used independently by children without a responsible adult Account Holder.
3 Description of the Youtine Service
Youtine is a private, shared space that helps households manage the everyday work of running a family (routines, shared tasks, and daily plans) in one calm place. Members can set up a profile (including an optional profile photo) and receive notifications. The app is designed to help you coordinate and share responsibilities securely with the people you live with.
4 User Accounts
To use Youtine, you must register an account with a valid email address and password, and confirm your age. You are responsible for ensuring your registration information is accurate and kept up to date.
- Keep your login credentials secret and do not share them with others
- You are solely responsible for all activities that occur under your account
- Notify us immediately at legal@youtine.app if you suspect any unauthorised use
5 User-Generated Content
You retain full ownership of any content you add to Youtine, such as routines, tasks, plans, and a profile photo ("User Content").
By uploading or sharing User Content, you grant Youtine BV a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, host, store, display, and transmit your content solely within the Youtine app or to provide the Service.
You remain responsible for all User Content you submit. You must not post content that violates any law or infringes the rights of others.
6 Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Upload, post, or share any unlawful, offensive, abusive, or harassing content
- Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your identity
- Post or distribute content you do not own or have rights to
- Engage in scraping, data mining, or any unauthorised extraction of data from the Service
- Circumvent, disable, or tamper with security features
- Solicit, promote, or carry out any illegal activities
Violation of these rules may result in suspension or termination of your account.
7 Intellectual Property
The Youtine app, its technology, visual design, and brand are the exclusive property of Youtine BV and are protected by intellectual property laws. Except as expressly authorised, you may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service. All rights not expressly granted are reserved by Youtine BV.
8 Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without any warranty of any kind, whether express or implied. While we strive for reliability and security, Youtine BV does not guarantee that the Service will be error-free or uninterrupted.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Youtine BV is not liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, special, or consequential damages (including loss of data, loss of profits, or interruption of business) arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.
9 Termination
Youtine BV reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you breach these Terms or engage in prohibited conduct. You may delete your account at any time via the app's settings. After account termination, your data will be deleted per the retention period outlined in our Privacy Policy.
10 Governing Law
These Terms are governed exclusively by Dutch law. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
